Looking for more
Below are the different options that I offer for coaching. I live in the New England area but with the phone and the technology that we have available with the internet, you could be anywhere and we could still make it work. I will tell you that the first two things I am going to ask you are:
What is your goal?
What is your motivation?
These are important questions that you want to be able to answer. Without those answers, I can work with you but you will not get as much of the benefits of coaching. Coaches will gladly take your money if you don't know the answer to these questions but I would argue that without them, you should not hire a coach. A coach is a tool to help you accomplish something that you can not accomplish without some help. If you need to pay someone just to force yourself to work out, then so be it.
The online options use a product that allows us to enter a meeting online and talk through the training programs while sharing it and making changes to it. Also, having your program created on TrainingPeaks allows you and I to track your progress online. Technology is a wonderful thing. I am flexible so if you don’t see what you want, drop me a line and we can see what works best for you. Just want to ask me a question?
MileMentoring Program:
I would work with you to put together a training program for you to follow either online or in another format like Excel. We would catch up via the phone so that I can get to know you a little better and figure out what you want to get out of the program and then I would design a program for you to follow. Once the program has been built, you would have the following:
Email access to me to ask questions.
Daily workouts to do with very specific heart rate zones etc.
Tweaks to the training program to adapt to your lifestyle.
Phone consultation if needed.
The program could last a month or six months depending on how far out the goal is and how much time you have to invest in reaching it. A six month period may have multiple races in it where we would probably be tweaking the program from time to time depending on the results of the training.
Cost is $85 a month with a $95 starting fee. If you purchase more than 5 months, the cost goes to $80 a month. Email me your contact information and we can get started.
Phone Consultation:
Don’t want to hire a coach for a few months because you just need to work through a few final problem areas? There are two ways that we can do this approach. We can catch up on the phone or online reviewing your training plan using a software that allows you and I to look at the program, talk through it and make changes as we go. $35 per hour and then $30 for each hour after that. If this is the route that you would want to go then I would have you do some homework before we got together so that we did not spend the first hour talking about your goals etc. Download the doc below and fill out the questionnaire below and email it to me along with some suggested times to catch up. If you have a written program that needs a review or maybe even a video of your run/bike/swim we can go online and review that as well.

Group Coaching:
Want to get some more bang for the buck? I can come and talk to a group or team of people about specific parts of training or we could do a session online with a group of people. We would catch up on the phone to go over the goals of the session as well as the target audience. I would then come up with an outline that you would review with me to make sure we cover all of the important areas.
In person: Cost is $200 an hour with an additional cost for travel depending on how far I had to go to get to you.
Online: Cost is $300 for ten people. Additional $10 cost for each user.

If you are looking for one on one time, then give me a call or email me. I am located in North Reading, Mass. If you are in the area and want to get together for a workout in the pool or road I would be more than happy to meet up with you. Depending on how far away you are located, we can work out the details. The base cost is $80 an hour, $50/ half hour, plus some money for gas if I have to go a good ways. This would still start with a phone call to talk through what you are looking for so that we don’t waste the hour doing that when we got together. If you are looking for another coach with a little more experience I would be happy to point you in the right direction.
